usb keyboard adapter problem: no repeats?
Question:
when i play game with ps/2 keyboard, if i press right my character keeps moving right and if i press left afterwards, my character also keeps moving left.
however, after i bought ps/2 to usb adapter, everything else about the keyboard works fine. but when i move one direction and then change direction (like, press right continuously then left continuously), i will move left once then stop. when i tried it on notepad/word, i observe the same problem. simply put, my keyboard directional pad suddenly stops automatically repeating when it's using usb adapter.
my questions therefore:
1) is there any way to fix it?
2) will pure usb keyboard (not ps/2 with adapter) change this problem?
3) is it just my usb to ps/2's problem?

It's definately down to the converter- I had a USB wireless mouse which after 2 minutes of inactivity-stands by to conserve battery life and you have to click it to work again... however when I used it through a ps/2 converter-it also need to be reset at the reciever end each time to resume from standby !!! it's the way the converter is wired??
if it was working in the first place , then why get a converter??
